Today’s a great day—we just launched a new website for Rose Community Foundation who we have been collaborating with throughout 2013 to modernize their web presence. Rose Community Foundation uses leadership, grantmaking and donor engagement to invest in strategic and innovative solutions to enduring problems and emerging issues. The Foundation manages more than $278 million in assets and made grants totaling $16.6 million in 2012 to nonprofit organizations.
We’ve helped them with a complete website redesign, including responsive web design, information architecture, visual design and Drupal CMS development. Together, we’ve aimed to improve the user experience, highlight the Foundation’s community impact and increase donor engagement.
“Malenke | Barnhart has been instrumental in helping the Foundation create a modern, cohesive website for our multiple audiences including donors, grantees and community leaders,” said Lisa Harris, a member of the Foundation communications team. “M|B brought a deep understanding of the user experience and of recent web directions related to mobile access as they created a sustainable, dynamic web presence for the Foundation.”
Congrats to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center on the launch of its new online Career Guide, which includes custom, interactive career tools. Developed with our partner, the Council for Adult & Experiential Learning, these tools empower the hospital’s employees to further their careers by matching their skills and interests to job titles, providing in-depth job information, and mapping their career paths. Our role: Information architecture, copywriting, visual design, Drupal CMS implementation, and front-and back-end development.
Wahoo! Our longtime Kentico development partner, BlueModus, just launched its new website. We’re honored to have played our part in this complete redesign, handling the information architecture, website design, tagline development and copywriting. The site culminates BlueModus’s rebranding effort, which aims to convey the firm’s world-class technical skills, plus so much more. Congrats, friends.
Kudos to the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty team on the launch of their new Builder’s Online Resource Center! The portal, where home builders go to manage their accounts and make online payments, underwent a complete redesign. Based on user interviews, we reorganized the flows, cutting the steps in half, speeding up the process, and simplifying the experience. At launch, we also set up Google Analytics—so 2-10 HBW has solid business data moving forward.
Following our 2011 discovery project, we now begin a full website redesign for the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA). A frontrunner in affordable housing, CHFA has financed more than 69,000 home mortgages and more than 54,000 residential rental units since 1973. Our services will include information architecture, web design, copy consultation and editing, and HTML coding while development is handled by our SharePoint partner, Catapult Systems.
With unbounded excitement, we welcome Josh West as our new Interactive Account Director. This 18-year interactive executive comes to us from Ubermind/Deloitte Digital, Factory Design Labs and Photobucket where he oversaw digital projects for companies like Audi, Oakley, The North Face and Stapleton. Focused, passionate, innovative and supportive are just a few of the words that describe Josh—and make us thrilled to welcome him aboard.
Today we’re excited to embark on a new UX consulting project for ikonomo—the deals website that enables shoppers to plan weekly meals, create grocery lists, comparison shop and get coupons, all in one place. Our team will consult on the home page and shopping list interactions, designs and copy to help drive conversions.
Happy anniversary to Matthew Elliott, our in-house experience strategist, who has been an eminent M|Ber for 6 years now. Ever the inquisitor, Matthew pushes himself without pause—and in the process, pushes our agency toward excellence. Thanks for a great ride, M.E.; the sky’s the limit in year number 7.
